Writing:

In select courses, PNAP students work with their instructors to develop creative and scholarly writing for publication in class anthologies. These self-published booklets are distributed to the authors at Stateville and are shared by PNAP at our exhibitions and events and on our website. PDFs of PNAP anthologies can be viewed and downloaded below.

Poets read their works from a class taught by staff from the Poetry Foundation (Fred Sasaki, Lindsay Garbutt, Ydalmi Noriega, Ashley Sheehan, and Nuria Sheehan). In the audio, authors state their names and the titles of their works. 2012.

Audio of mixed sound and poetry developed in a class taught by Marvin Tate and supported by the Poetry Foundation. PNAP was not able to record to poets at the prison, so the work is read by Marvin Tate and Baylee Champion. Joe Jeffers mixed the sound. 2015.
