A new PNAP book project will be released titled Carving Out Rights from Inside the Prison Industrial Complex, published by Hat and Beard Press. This book features the 30 brilliantly crafted prints of the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, presented alongside essays, an interview and poetry. The artists and authors ask essential questions of what it means to build a culture of human rights from below and what happens when people denied their rights, begin to reimagine and carve them out once again.
