Teach With PNAP

PNAP’s classes, workshops, and guest lectures are made possible by the artists and educators who collaborate with us. If you are interested in teaching with PNAP, we encourage you to fill out the application form linked below. We respond to newly submitted forms periodically–in January, May, and September. Before applying please note the following:

  • Teaching is in-person.
  • PNAP transitioned out of Stateville Men’s Prison to Hill Men’s Prison in the fall of 2024. Hill is located in Galesburg, Illinois approximately three hours drive from Chicago.
  • PNAP has evolving programming at Logan Prison which is designated a women’s prison and has a mixed gender population. Logan Prison is located in Lincoln, Illinois approximately three hours drive from Chicago.
  • Teaching in a IDOC facility requires background checks and adherence to strict regulations. To learn more email contactpnap@gmail.com to speak to a PNAP staff person.
