2022 Gala

The Future is Now* will be on June 11th from 6:00 – 9:30 at the Chicago Art Department. We’ll have food, drinks, music, and highlight the artistic talents of our community members. The event will also serve as an opportunity for us to celebrate the ongoing achievements and tireless efforts of our community behind and beyond the prison walls.

In addition to the entertainment, we’ll have an auction including art and other items donated by our community members. Check back to see what items are available!

Tickets

Tickets are $50 until April 18th with the code “WORMSECURED” and $65 after early bird prices. They can be purchased here. Sliding scale options are available for systems-impacted community members. Can’t make it but want to support? You can purchase a ticket for the attendance of a systems-impacted community member or see our sponsorship options below.

*The title of our gala was inspired by incarcerated artist Heriberto “Beto” Garcia. He has been incarcerated in CDCR since 2007, when he was 15. Beto is currently fighting for his freedom. You can donate towards legal funds here.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship can occur from individuals, organizations, or departments. Sponsors help us increase our fundraising goals and ensure our full vision of the gala is achieved.
